AIADMK party man commits suicide over hardships faced by Jayalalithaa

After an AIADMK party leader committed sucide in Theni , the former TN Chief Minister J Jayallaihtaa called out to her party men not to resort to the extreme measure. The Youth Brigade president of Periyakulam, P Rajayokkium, committed suicide in Theni unable to bear the difficulties that the AIADMK chief was saying, reported Dinathanthi. The party leader had committed the act followed by which even his wife attempted suicide, said the report. Jayalalithaa handed over a sum of Rs. 3 lakh to the family of Rajayokkium along with a sum of Rs. 50,000 for treatment for his wife, reported The Hindu. This is not the first time party workers have resorted to the extreme measure over Jayalalithaa's fate. In the aftermath of Jayalalithaaâ€™s conviction in September last year, atleast 16 people were believed to have committed suicide.
