Tollywood star Mahesh Babu who is basking in the success of his latest outing Bharat Ane Nenu, is the new entrant at the prestigious Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. The actor is being honoured with a statue at the popular wax museum and preparations seem underway already.

Mahesh Babu shared the news on his Twitter handle on Thursday. He wrote, “Super happy to be a part of the prestigious Madame Tussauds :) :) Thanks to the team of artists for their attention to detail. Incredible!”

Last year the statue of another popular star, Baahubali actor Prabhas, was inaugurated at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Bangkok. Seen there in his Amarendra Baahubali avatar, Prabhas became the first south Indian actor to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds.

Mahesh Babu is currently creating magic on the screen with his recently released film, Bharat Ane Nenu, directed by Koratala Siva. A political thriller, Mahesh Babu is seen playing a politician for the first time in his career in the film. His fans have, therefore, gone gaga over seeing him as the chief minister on the silver screen, which is touted to be one of the reasons for the film’s huge success.

While Mahesh Babu plays the central character in BAN, it marks the debut of Kiara Advani in Tollywood as his lead pair. The others in the star cast include Prakash Raj, R Sarathkumar, Devaraj, Aamani, Sithara and Posani Krishna Murali.

The film is enjoying massive success at the box office and has become the highest grossing Telugu film to enter the Rs 100 crore club following the Baahubali franchise. The film crossed the $2 million mark in the US in just two days. Bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainments, the music for this flick has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad with Ravi K Chandran being the cinematographer and A Sreekar Prasad the editor.
