It is almost official that SJ Suryah will be directing Power Star Pawan Kalyan's next film, and the director is gearing up to put the project in motion.
Pawan has okayed the script narrated by the director, which he was apparently quite amazed with. Now sources have confirmed that the film will start rolling soon. It is being said that the director has roped in Tollywood script and dialogue writer Akula Siva, based on Pawan Kalyan’s request.
The Power Star and SJ Suryah have worked together in two films before this – Kushi, the 2001 hit that made Pawan a youth icon, and Puli in 2010.
Tollywood sources believe that Pawan will make the jump into full-time politics by the 2019 elections, and is looking to fast-track his acting career before quitting the movies.
The movie is set to be launched by the end of the month, and is likely to be produced by Sardaar Gabbar Singh producer Sharat Marrar.
Pawan Kalyan has promised distributors of Sardaar Gabbar Singh that he will compensate their losses through the forthcoming SJ Suryah project, since Eros, which distributed the film, will not be bear the losses of that film.
