Just when one thought the Kerala Law Academy saga had come to an end, prominent lawyer Sangeetha Lakshmana chose to take to Facebook to target protesters who had vociferously protested against former Principal Dr. Lekshmi Nair. Social media was quick to condemn the same.

On Wednesday, Sangeetha had posted few photographs of girls and boys sitting together, posing for selfies, coupled with shots from various college events to reveal  the ‘real face’  of the girl students.

Terming the protesting female students as ‘parasites’, the advocate said they reminded her of Phoolan Devi. Accusing them of not listening to reason, Sangeetha went a step ahead and attributed the withdrawal of protest only because things were finally explained to them in a ‘proper manner by a handsome Minister’.

She did not forget to blame the media for upholding them as brave faces, when in reality their very morals were questionable. She accused the girls of using the 29-day protest as an excuse to mingle with boys. That was the only reason, she insists, that the strike continued for almost a month.

“Shameless strike has a shameless end….even their victory celebrations were rather shameless,” she remarked.
