Vijay Sethupathi is currently busy with a bunch of films needing his attention and among it is Tughlaq Darbar. Wielding the megaphone for this venture is debut director Delhi Prasad Deenadayal. It was revealed by the filmmakers through their official Twitter handle that Aditi Rao Hydari will be playing the female lead in this film. 

Confirming it, the production house posted the message: “We would like to welcome the gorgeous @aditiraohydari on-board for our next flick #TughlaqDurbar !!@Viacom18Studios@VijaySethuOffl @DDeenadayaln @Lalit_SevenScr @govind_vasantha @iamarunviswa @LokeshJey @proyuvraaj.”

Incidentally, Vijay Sethupathi and Aditi Rao Hydari had worked together in the Mani Ratnam directorial Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. Veteran filmmaker and actor Parthiepan will be seen playing a pivotal role in Tughlaq Darbar and he has joined the sets already to film for his portions.

Music for this film will be composed by Govindh Vasantha while Balaji Tharaneetharan is penning the dialogues for the political fantasy. Lalit Kumar is bankrolling it under his banner Seven Screen Studio.

Vijay Sethupathi has a slew of films in his kitty of which the shooting of Sanga Thamizhan was completed recently. The film is directed by Vijay Chander. The storyline of Sanga Thamizhan is set in North Chennai and the director has done a lot of research for it. From what we hear, it is sure to be an intense film that is set to thrill all Vijay Sethupathi’s fans. Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj play the heroines in this flick while Soori and Nassar play pivotal roles. Vivek-Mervin are the music composers for Sanga Thamizhan with R Velraj being the cinematographer and Praveen KL in charge of the editing.
