Actress Simran, who once ruled the roost with films such as Vaali, Kalisundam Raa and Youth, is busy nowadays with a string of cameo appearances.
In the last 24 months or so, she was seen in brief roles in films such as Aaha Kalyanam, Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Karai Oram. She will next be seen in actor-filmmaker Parthepan’s directorial venture, Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga, and once again in a cameo role.
Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Simran confirmed that she’s part of the project and will be seen in an interesting but brief role. Without divulging much detail about her role, she said audiences can look forward to something exciting from her character. The film stars Shanthanu and Parvathy Nair in the lead alongside Thambi Ramaiah in a pivotal role.
The regular shooting has commenced and Simran has already joined the sets.
