The news that actor Vishal was going to get engaged to the daughter of a Hyderabad based businessman began doing the rounds last month. The actor himself, however, remained tight-lipped about things, neither confirming nor denying the news.

However, putting the rumours to rest, actor Anisha Alla, who had appeared in films like Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy, has now posted a photo of herself and actor Vishal on her Instagram handle, writing about “new beginnings”.

Anisha wrote, “I finally found somebody to go down the path of life with, loving him and life with true passion. I look up to this man for all that he stands for and for all of his heart. I vow to give back to him, the families and the people around with this step forward. I vow to be the best that I can be, intention towards collective learning, love and moral value,”

Actor Vishal too confirmed the news on Twitter, sharing a photo of the two together. 

More details on their engagement are yet to be revealed. Just last week, actor Vishal clarified that the photos of the woman being circulated as his “fianceé” have no truth in them and that he will make an official statement regarding his engagement and wedding “as soon as things have been finalised”.

Anisha was seen playing the role of an ex-girlfriend in Pelli Choopulu while she played one of the friends in Vijay Deverakonda’s Arjun Reddy.

Several people took to Twitter to congratulate the couple.

Vishal is currently filming for his upcoming film with Venkat Mohan - Ayogya. The film also stars Raashi Khanna. Sam CS has been roped to compose its music while the cinematography is being handled by VI Karthik and editing by Ruben.

The film’s first look poster that was released in November last year shows Vishal seated on a police jeep, holding an alcohol bottle in hand. Produced by Light House Movie Makers, the film is slated for release later this year.
