The shooting of the Darshan starrer Roberrt, which is directed by Tharun Sudhir, is currently happening in Bengaluru at a brisk pace. The director had pointed out that he has penned the film not as a director but as Darshan’s fan, which means that it will have all the elements that the star’s fans would love to watch on the silver screens.

According to the latest reports, the film will also feature Vinod Prabhakar, son of actor Tiger Prabhakar, in an important role. A photo of the two actors posing together on the sets of the film has gone viral, especially for Darshan’s new hair style. Incidentally, Darshan and Vinod share a good rapport with both of them sharing screen space in Navagraha and Yajamana.

Director Tharun had confirmed that M Chandramouli, one of the dialogue writers for the smash hit film KGF: Chapter 1, will be working with another writer, Rajshekar KL, to pen the dialogues for Roberrt. Rajshekar KL is well-known for his work in Amma I Love You and Victory 2.

On the female lead in this film, there were reports that former Miss World and Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai was being considered, but they were later dismissed as rumours. The latest buzz is that Mehreen Pirzada will be roped in for the role. If she signs on the dotted line, it will mark her debut in Sandalwood.

Recently, the first look poster of the film was unveiled and received a good response from film buffs. The poster shows the rear view of Darshan riding a bike and several two-wheeler to huge vehicles in the distance coming towards him. The actor is seen wearing a black jacket with the logo of an elephant with what appears to be wings. The number plate of the bike – KA 19 D 8055 (BOSS) – reads DBOSS, the title Darshan’s fans have given him.
