The Kannada star had completed all his pending films prior to taking a break and undergoing the surgery.
His last film Rustum hit the screens on June 28 after being postponed from June 14, allegedly due to a delay in computer graphics work. The film was originally scheduled to clash with Upendra’s I Love You. It was met with a successful run. The film was produced by Jayanna and Bhogendra under the banner Jayanna Combines. Shraddha Srinath plays the female lead opposite Shiva Rajkumar while Mayuri was seen playing the role of his sister. Anoop Seelin has composed the tunes and Mahendra Simha has handled the cinematography for the movie. In a new look, the actor played the role of a police officer. Fans saw the actor tackling some impressive stunts as part of the role. Hindi actor Vivek Oberoi was also roped in to play an important role in the movie.
The Sandalwood star will next be seen in the upcoming flick Bhajarangi 2 in which he has teamed up with director A Harsha for a third time. The filmmakers will reported reveal the first look of Shiva Rajkumar on the occasion of the star’s birthday on July 12. While the director has stated that the film will have no connection to Bhajarangi, he has said the name was chosen as the team liked it. Bhavana will be seen opposite Shiva Rajkumar in this film.
