Actor Nithiin’s A Aa, a romantic comedy film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, was a big hit.
Made on a budget of Rs. 34 crore, the film collected about Rs. 75 crore. Interestingly, it was a smash hit among US audiences, as it went on to collect $2.40 million.
The film, which was released last year, has made Nithiin a favorite among the Telugu audiences in the US.
Now, with his LIE hitting the marquee, fans are waiting eagerly to catch the young star in action. The actor is hopeful that the film’s collections at the US box office would surpass that of his A Aa.
LIE (Love Intelligence Enmity) has been directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment.
The film’s teaser that was released a few weeks ago managed to get the attention of film buffs. The expectations for LIE rose due to its dialogues, the stylish visuals, and Nithiin’s new look.
Further, the film is set in the US, which is one more reason for fans living in that country to lap it up.
Nithiin plays the lead role in the film with Megha Akash pairing up with him. The star cast also includes Arjun Sarja, Sri Ram, Ajay, Nassar, Ravi Kishan, Brahmaji, and Prithviraj. Mani Sharma has composed music for this flick with J. Yuvraj cranking the camera and S. R. Shekhar editing it.
