Nikhil Siddharth, who shot to limelight with the Sekhar Kammula directorial Happy Days in 2007, has inked to deal for his next.

Making the announcement through his Twitter handle, he wrote, “I have signed another film for another prestigious production house and will be shooting two movies simultaneously.”

Tweeting about his yet another project that is being produced by AK Entertainment, he wrote, “Hundreds of talented young actors have been auditioned 4 #AK11 movie. Met many of them and we will release a video showcasing them soon.”

The screenplay for this film is penned by Sudheer Varma, who had written the screenplay for films Nikhil’s films such as Swamy Ra Ra and Keshava and Chandu Mondeti will be taking care of the dialogues. The untitled film will be directed by a debutant Sharan Koppisetti.

Reports suggest that the film will go on the floors shortly and the groundwork for it is currently on. With the cast finalised after the selection made through the casting call, Nikhil said that he would be revealing the new talents soon.

Ajanish Loknath will be composing the tunes for this flick.

Nikhil made his acting debut with the Telugu movie Sambaram way back in 2003 in a cameo role but his big break came in the form of the Shekar Kammula directorial, a rom com titled Happy Days in 2007.

Since then, he has starred in films such as Yuvatha, Alasyam Amrutham, Veedu Theda, Swamy Ra Ra, Karthikeya, Surya vs Surya, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and Keshava. His last outing was Keshava which was written and directed by Sudheer Varma.

With Nikhil busy with a slew of films and working with prestigious banners, expectations about his projects are going high.
