Actor and director Guinness Pakru aka Ajay Kumar has created a new record by collecting three record certificates in a day. After making it to the Guinness World Record some years ago for being the shortest hero, he has now added his name to the Universal Records Forum, Limca Book of Records and Best of India Records book for being the shortest hero.

Pakru made his acting debut with the Malayalam film Ambili Ammavan in 1985 and has acted in a number of films, including Joker, Athbhutha Dweepu, Kilukkam Kilukilukkam, Ee Pattanathil Bhootham, Bodyguard, Ring Master and Punyalan Private Limited. Other than Malayalam movies, he has also acted in Tamil film such as Dishyum and 7aam Arivu. In 2013, Guinness Pakru turned director with his maiden venture Kuttiyum Kolum, which starred himself in the lead role with Munna, Adithya Ayota, Sanusha, Vijaya Raghavan and Ponnama Babu also featuring in the star cast.

Pakru has two Guinness records to his credit – Guinness World Records (2008 edition) for being the shortest actor to play a lead character in a full length movie and the Guinness World Records (2013 edition) for being the shortest film director in the world to direct a full length movie. He has also won several prestigious awards in his career, including the Kerala State Film Award – Special Mention for Athbhutha Dweepu in 2006 and the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize for Dishyum in 2006.

Guinness Pakru has been making heads turn by scaling great heights with his performances. The actor has inked a deal to star in a film titled Ilayaraja which will feature him in the lead role. The shooting for this flick is expected to begin on April 27.

Pakru’s daughter Deepthakeerthi recently made her screen debut in a short video titled Ente Vishu. It features the artist’s Vishu celebrations with his family, in which the nine-year old is seen arranging the ‘Vishu Kani’ at home.
