The highly anticipated trailer for the Mahesh Babu starrer Sypder has been released on the star’s birthday. An AR Murugadoss action thriller, the film will release in Telugu and Tamil in September this year.
SJ Suryah is pitted against Mahesh Babu in the film which is supposedly about an Intelligence Bureau officer who has to stop biological terror in the country. The trailer promises plenty of fight sequences and has a good dose of violence, going by the body count seen in just a few minutes from the film.
SJ Suryah can be seen wearing a mask and comparing himself to disasters like the Tsunami which take lives on a mass scale. Interestingly, Kamal's Dasavatharam, which was also about biological warfare, had a Tsunami in the climax.
Rakul Preet Singh, who plays Mahesh Babu's love interest in the film, also makes an appearance. From the looks of it, she plays the usual "bubbly" heroine - we'd be happy to be proved wrong.
RJ Balaji, who has featured in a number of films in a short duration, is part of the cast though his role is yet to be revealed.
Harris Jayaraj, who has given hit numbers for earlier AR Murugadoss films like Ghajini, 7aum Arrivu, and Thuppaki, is the composer for Spyder. Released just a few hours ago, the trailer has clocked nearly 9,00,000 views on YouTube.
