Jitender Singh Tomar, the Law Minister of the Delhi government from the Aam Aadmi Party is in the dock after the High Court on Monday was informed that there was no record of the minister’s law degree.  Latest reports confirm that the CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has asked Tomar to explain himself. Tomar has issued a clarification claiming that his degree was indeed genuine.  According to a report by NDTV, Bihar’s Tilak Manjhi Bhagalpur University had written to the HC on Monday stating that Tomar’s provisional certificate was “fabricated and doesn't exist in the university's record”. The inquiry report further mentioned that the serial number on his certificate came up with a “different person's name from a different stream”. The court has reportedly asked the minister to respond to the issue by August 20 with the report alleging that the university’s records have been tampered and claiming that he had used a “false and bogus” degree to become a lawyer. The Congress party’s leader Ajay Maken has demanded for the minister’s sacking and has said that if Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal doesn’t remove Tomar from his position by tomorrow, “we (Congress) will hold a massive demonstration outside the Delhi Secretariat”. BJP’s Meenakshi Lekhi also condemned the AAP asking how Tomar was given charge of the law ministry and how he was still continuing. The AAP have said that Tomar will respond to the charges in court. This is also not the first time that Tomar has been questioned regarding his educational qualifications. A court earlier had asked the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University in Uttar Pradesh to confirm his graduation degree in science.  Read more at: Delhi Law Minister Faked Law Degree?
