Bollywood star Aamir Khan and the Tollywood mega star Chiranjeevi ran into each other at the airport in Japan recently. Sharing a pic of them together, Aamir Khan posted on Twitter: “Ran into one of my favourite actors, superstar Chiranjeevi Garu at Kyoto airport! What a pleasant surprise :-) . Discussed his new project about freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. You are always such an inspiration sir."

Aamir Khan is currently busy with his upcoming film Lal Singh Chadha. The film is bankrolled jointly by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions with Advait Chandan wielding the megaphone. The actor confirmed that Lal Singh Chadha is the adaptation of the Hollywood movie Forrest Grump and the remake rights have been procured from Paramount officially.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi has just wrapped up the shooting of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and it has gone into the post production mode. Sye Raa, directed by Surendar Reddy, is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen making a guest appearance as Gosayi Venkanna.

Apparently, he plays Uyyalalwada Narasimha’s mentor in the film. The others in the star cast are Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton. It is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Initially the film was slated for an August 15 release. But now reports are that the team is aiming for Dusshera release, due to delay in post-production.
