Operation Gold Fish, a movie reportedly on terrorism with Kashmir as the backdrop, has been certified UA by the CBFC and will be released on October 18.

Operation Gold Fish features popular writer Abburi Ravi in the role of a terrorist Ghazi Baba and is directed by Adivi Sai Kiran. The first look of the movie was released a few days ago by director Trivikram Srinivas and it had created a buzz.

Abburi Ravi, in a media interaction, had said that he plays a terrorist in the movie, who massacres people. It took Adivi Sai Kiran three months to convince Abburi Ravi to accept to play a terrorist in this movie. The movie is a fictional story inspired by real life events, and shot in the hilly terrains of Lambasingi and Araku Valley. The movie is being produced by Prathiba Adivi, Ashish Reddy, Keshav Swaroop, Artists & Technicians under the banner Vinayakudu Talkies.

Aadi and Nithya Naresh play lead pair in Operation Gold Fish. Apart from Abburi Ravi, the film also stars Parvatheesam, Karthik Raju, Anish Kuruvilla, and Rao Ramesh in supporting roles. Sasha Chettri, who shot to fame through Airtel 4G advertisements, also makes her debut in the movie. Aadi Pinisetty, who will be seen playing a NSG commando in this flick, has said that this is the first time he is playing such a role and is happy over the response from fans for his look in the movie. Sri Charan Pakala is the music director of Operation Gold Fish and Jaipal Reddy is handling the camera. Garry is in-charge of the editing of the movie.

The first look of Operation Gold Fish was released in November 2018 on Twitter by the movie’s official Twitter handle and the teaser of the movie  was released in March by Telugu star Mahesh Babu.
