According to sources, Gouri would be seen playing a college student in the film. It may be noted that recently the makers roped in Andrea and web series Aaha Kalyanam fame Brigida.

The film marks the first-time collaboration of actor Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who rose to fame with Maanagaram and currently enjoying the success of his recent release Kaithi starring Karthi. The shooting of the film is currently happening in the National Capital Delhi despite heavy smog and air pollution.
