Fifteen people were seriously injured after a swarm of wasps stung them and more than 35 others near Mayiladuthurai in Tamil Nadu on Friday, police said.
The venom filled sting by the wasps in Malliyakollai caused serious injuries to the 15 people who had been hospitalized, they said.
The others were treated, but the pain will last for 10 hours, Dr V Mohan, who treated them, said.
