106-yr-old fangirl travels 440 km to meet Mahesh Babu actor overwhelmed

Celebrities are no strangers to fan encounters and Tollywood super star Mahesh Babu, experienced a recent fan-encounter which left the actor all smiles. But what made the meeting all the more special was that the fan who met him wasn’t an enthusiastic youngster, but a 106-year-old woman who had travelled all the way from Rajahmundry to meet her idol.

In an Instagaram post on Monday, Mahesh posted a photo with 106-year-old Relangi Satyavati, who travelled all the way to Hyderabad, to meet him on the sets of his upcoming film Maharishi. The 106-year-old, travelled 440 km, reached Hyderabad only to meet him and overwhelmed by this, he took to social media to share his happiness.

“It's amazing how love transcends through ages... Humbled to see & feel that kind of love coming from someone generations apart from mine,” Mahesh Babu wrote in his Instagram post.

“Glad I could make her happy but in all honesty, I am happier than her. God bless her!” he added.

Confirming to TNM, Vamsi Kaka, PR to the film Maharishi, said that Relangi Satyavati had posted a video on social media a few months back, expressing her admiration for Mahesh Babu and her desire to meet him. The video caught the actor’s attention and he expressed his wish to meet the woman. Arrangements were later made for the 106-year-old to travel from Rajahmundry and meet the actor on the sets of Maharishi.

Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for his upcoming flick Maharishi, helmed by Vamsi Paidapally and bankrolled by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP. The film’s shooting is currently in progress and has llari Naresh and Pooja Hegde and Jayaprada playing important roles. Maharishi is set to hit the marquee in April next year and will be a landmark film in the star’s career as it happens to his 25th outing.
