A man has alleged he was forced to bury dead bodies of murder victims for nearly 20 years
Many of them, he says, were women and girls, their bodies showing signs of sexual assault.
And that when he tried to say no, he was threatened with death.
This allegation by a Dalit sanitation worker has sent shockwaves across Karnataka, because it targets one of the state's most powerful religious institutions—the Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Temple.
The man, who remains anonymous till now, says he worked at the Dharmasthala temple.
This isn’t the first time that such serious allegations have been raised against this temple
