Written by : TNM

After getting extensive coverage in the media, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's infamous Rs 5 crore luxury bus reportedly developed a technical snag on the first day of his tour to his home district Medak on Saturday.According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the bus had a wiring problem which resulted in the technical snag after the bus was started and the air conditioning was switched on.The report also adds that an upset KCR also expressed displeasure over the seating system and public address system in the bus and sought for changes to be made immediately. The officials later shifted the bus which was manufactured by Mercedes Benz, to the company's workshop in Hayathnagar for repair and renovation. However, officials maintain that the chief minister was not upset with the bus and just wanted a few changes. The completely bullet proof bus, which is loaded with many modern day features was transported from Chandigarh on a truck to Hyderabad last Thursday and was to be used for KCR’s tour to Medak, Karimnagar, Adilabad and Nizamabad. The chief minister who was supposed to travel to Medak to take part in the Haritha Haaram, left in his regular convoy later.
