Slipper hurled at Kanhaiya, two detained in Hyderabad

Written by : TNM Staff

JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar on Thursday, had a slipper hurled at him and was also heckled by people who shouted, ‘’Is desh drohi ko bahar nikalo” while addressing a seminar in Hyderabad.

Kanhaiya was giving a speech on constitutional rights at the Sundaraiah Vignana Kendra.

The slipper missed the target even as Kanhaiya’s supporters roughed up the attacker.

Two people, Pawan Kumar Reddy and Naresh Kumar belonging to the Bharatiya Jana Yuva Morcha have been detained.

It seems Kumar told the cops, “Please don’t forcibly evict them”.

Yesterday, Kanhaiya was not allowed to enter the Hyderabad Central University campus and addressed the media from outside the entrance.
