Pre-schooler child dies in Hyderabad after her head gets stuck in a lift

Written by : TNM Staff

In a tragic incident in Hyderabad, a three-year-old girl died after her head was stuck in an elevator at her school.

According to initial reports, Syeda Xainab, a nursery student from the Sri Chaitanya Star Kids School got onto the lift with a bunch of students and the teacher.

Some reports say that there was a scuffle between school kids to come out of the lift while others claim that there was no guard present at the time.

It is still unclear if there was any negligence on part of the school or teacher as many schools prohibit children from using the lift.

The police along with the parents of the deceased, reached the school immediately and a probe has been initiated.
