Many Pune students drown at Murud beach in Raigad

Thirteen students of the Abeda Inamdar college in Pune are feared drowned in the Murud beach in Raigad. Initial reports suggest that a group of around 115 students were on a tour, of which some students entered the waters for a swim.

Raigad police told media that the students feared drowned were Computer Sciencestudents from the college.

Rescue operations  are being carried out by Coast Guard and Indian Navy.
