Chandrasekhar Rao announced on Friday that he would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi soon and make an effort to get the state’s rightful share of power from Andhra Pradesh.KCR while addressing the assembly claimed that as per the state reorganization act, the power should be shared in the ratio of 54:46 in favour of Telangana. He also added that if AP refuses to provide the 2,700 MW of power the state is eligible for, Telangana would soon have its own 2000 MW within a year from the new plans being set up in the state.According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, KCR claimed that it was the responsibility of the Centre to implement the AP Reorganization act and added that a petition was readied to be filed in the Supreme Court against AP with proof if necessary.
