KCR identifies land for eco friendly pharma city near Hyderabad

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that the city would be developed on 11,000 acres in Mucherla village in Ranga Reddy district.The proposed pharma city would also have a township along with the industries for the employees who will work in the firms set up there, a report in the Times of India adds.KCR along with representatives of some pharma giants undertook and aerial survey and added that the local pharma companies were willing to invest Rs 30,000 crore which would create employment opportunities for around 70,000 people.The chief minister during the survey was accompanied by Transport minister P Mahender Reddy, Maheshwaram MLA T Krishna Reddy and representatives of other Pharma companies like Hetero Drugs, Dr Reddys Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals and MSN Labs.
