Journalist dies after falling off Panjagutta flyover in Hyderabad

In a shocking road accident that took place on Sunday, a 40-year-old journalist died after he fell off the Panjagutta flyover in Hyderabad. According to police, a speeding car hit his bike from behind, leading to him falling off the flyover.

The deceased has been identified as Tajuddeen Mohammed of Karimnagar, based on his voter identity card. He was travelling towards Nagarjuna circle from Begumpet. Tajuddeen is said to be working as a reporter with a Telugu media outlet. The police shifted him to Osmania General Hospital following the incident, where he died while undergoing treatment

Speaking to TNM, the Panjagutta Inspector said that his family members have arrived at the hospital to take his body to his hometown. “A case has been registered against the car driver,” he added.

“We are investigating how the incident happened,” he said.
