Jana Reddy elected Telangana CLP leader

The News Minute | June 3, 2014 | 5:46 PM IST K Jana Reddy was elected as the Congress Legislature Party leader in the Telangana Assembly on Tuesday. AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh, along with the unanimous decisions of Union minister Vayalar Ravi, secretaries RC Khuntia and Thirunavakkarasu, and other MLAs, announced Reddy’s name as CLP leader. “We hope, he along with other Congress MLA’s will work as effective and constructive opposition in the Telangana Assembly”, said Singh.A seven time MLA, Reddy won the Nagarjunasagar Assembly constituency in Nalgonda district. D Srinivas elected leader of TLC D Srinivas was elected leader of the party in the Telangana Legislative Council on Tuesday. Srinivas was the president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee for two terms.
