It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no, it’s Telangana Chief Minister staring down at you

It’s going to be no UFO in the skies over Telangana this Makar Sankranti. It’s a very clearly identified object that you can’t really escape even if you want to avoid.

So someone decided that the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao should be staring down creepily at everybody in Hyderabad. From bright pink kites.

You don’t really have a choice as thousands of kites with KCR holding up his hands in a namaskara with the Charminar in the background have flooded the market.

If that’s not enough, all of Hyderabad is dotted with pink posters and banners.

So if you are in Hyderabad, there is no real escape from the pink KCR kites. They’re available in Begumbazar and Dhoolpet for Rs 5 only and are being lapped up by party cadres.

And we don’t even celebrate Halloween. What a pity.
