A 27-year-old video editor working for Zee Telugu killed himself in Hyderabad’s Motinagar area on Wednesday.

He was a native of Khammam district.

The deceased, R Rajesh (32), was said to be depressed ever since he lost his mother and brother many years ago.

A few hours before he hanged himself, Rajesh took to Facebook and put up a status and a quote.

While the status update said, “Miss you all, I am sorry,” the quote reportedly said, “When I was born, I was not born alone. I was born along with my death.”

According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, he also left a suicide note which read, “My life has been incredibly difficult growing up without my mother. I felt lonely. I always had a wish to go to the world my mother went. This is my own decision.”

The DC report adds that his friends alerted the police when he did not reply to the comments on the status, who, in turn rushed to his residence and broke in, to find him hanging.
