In a tragic incident, a 26-year-old engineering graduate committed suicide in a hostel in Hyderabad's S R Nagar by hanging from the ceiling fan on Wednesday. 

Reports suggest that the deceased, who hailed from Telangana's Nalgonda district had searched for various ways to end his life on YouTube before hanging himself.

The New Indian Express reported:

The hostel staff, on seeing the youth hang from the ceiling fan, alerted the police who rushed to the place, recovered the body and sent it to mortuary for post-mortem. A suicide note was found in which the youth attributed his decision to end his life to family issues. He also said that he had searched for ways of committing suicide by surfing the social media site, YouTube.

The report adds that his suicide note stated that he had killed himself due to family issues.
