Hyderabad police busts fake certificates racket, arrest four people

The four accused were arrested while delivering fake educational certificates near a government school at Eidgah grounds in Masab Tank.

The South-East Zone task force and the Mehdipatnam police arrested four people involved in fake education certificate distribution on Monday, May 12. The accused ran a fake educational consultancy to provide certificates to people applying for a visa to study abroad and for people applying to multi-national companies for jobs. 

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Mujeeb Hussain (54), who runs an educational consultancy and is a primary provider of fake certificates. Mohammed Nasir (26), an IT employee and two other people Mohd Al Baseer Rahmani (45), a gym trainer working for CULT and Zia-Ur-Rahman Siddiqui (34), the owner of a fitness gym also worked as mediators. 

According to the police, Mujeeb would provide the fake certificates to Nasir, via Baseer and Zia-Ur-Rahman. Mujeeb would get the fake certificates from three other accused: Manoj Viswash from West Bengal, and Ravinder and Ajay from Uttar Pradesh. The three men, who made these certificates, are absconding. 

The four accused were arrested while delivering fake educational certificates near a government school at Eidgah grounds in Masab Tank. The Mehdipatnam police also seized 108 fake educational certificates and four mobile phones from the accused.
