On Wednesday, the boys had an altercation when the class 10 student accidentally hit the class 6 boy with his bicycle while returning home.

It was reported that two days after the incident, the elder student was with his friends, when the younger student approached him with a knife, attacked him and fled.

The victim suffered stab injuries to his hand and back, and was rushed to a private hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. He is reported to be out of danger.

“He stabbed him  twice on his back. The student suffered bleeding injuries and was immediately rushed to Neelima Hospital located nearby,” Sanathnagar SI K Eshwar told The New Indian Express.
