Eleven year old boy set ablaze in Hyderabad, boy says 'army man' did it

The News Minute| October 8, 2014| 10.30 pm ISTIn a gruesome incident in Hyderabad, a 11-year-old boy was doused with kerosene and set ablaze in the Mehndipatnam area in the city. The boy who suffered more than 90% burn injuries was rushed to the Osmania hospital. He was playing near the army barracks when he was set ablaze.The boy later gave a statement to a magistrate that an 'army man' had taken him inside the camp, poured kerosene and then burnt him.The police and army officials are investigating the case that occurred in an area where the army has stores.It is not clear who was behind the incident or what the motive was.
