Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists involved in the 2013 Dilsukhnagar blasts in Hyderabad were 'produced' before a judge via Skype on Monday, during final arguments in the case.

The Times of India reported:

NIA officials, with the consent of the Ranga Reddy court, made arrangements for the culprits to be produced via Skype on a desktop computer as there were technical glitches in the videoconference facility at the court. The accused Yasin Bhatkal, Asadullah Akhtar, Tehaseen Akhtar and four others -were produced via Skype from the Cherlapally jail while the final arguments were taken up at the Ranga Reddy court.

The report adds that the previous hearing in the case was taken up at the Cherlapally jail premises, where the court was set up for the trial.

The Cherlapally jail presently has 13 inmates facing terror charges, with Yasin Bhatkal being one of the main prisoners.

Bhatkal, one of India's most wanted men, was arrested by the NIA, near the border with Nepal in August 2013.

He was wanted for the 2011 Delhi High Court blasts and several other strikes in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad.

Hailing from Karnataka, 32-year-old Bhatkal is said to be well-educated. Born Ahmed Siddibappa, he co-founded the Indian Mujahideen in 2008 with Riyaz Bhatkal and Abdul Subhan Qureshi. He was named in almost every terror attack in the country since 2007.
