Woman pushed out of moving train after being robbed near Beach station in Chennai

The News Minute | December 31, 2014 | 10:30 am IST A woman commuter was robbed and pushed out of the moving train on route a suburban train from Tambaram to beach near the RBI subway on Monday night. The victim identified as N Munishwari, 25 was a software engineer who works on the MPEZ campus in Tambaram, was alone in a women's compartment when the robber attacked. She suffered a fracture of the left shoulder, a report in the Times of India adds.Passengers of another train noticed the woman by the track. Some of them took her to the Beach station, where her husband, who works in a company in Parrys, was waiting. She is undergoing treatment at Stanley Medical College Hospital.Egmore railway police have registered a case and a hunt is on for the man who snatched her gold chain and demanded her bag.Tweet
