The News Minute | January 25, 2015 | 08.40 am ISTThe Madras High Court refused permission to a law graduate to enrol and practice law in courts , a degree he had completed without clearing his Class twelve exams. On the topic, the HC said that there is an order followed even in wearing costumes. The only exception to that order is superman and that anyone who completes their education in reverse order are only comparable to the superhero, said the judge according to Times of India.The explanation was made against a petition filed by G Bappudurai , a man who had joined a bacherlors’s degree under distance education without clearing his twelfth exams, said the report. Even though he got the BA degree in history in 2010, he then cleared his arrear in school in March that year.He then went on to complete his three year law degree at the the Tirunelevi Government Law College in 2013, he was however issued a show cause notice by the Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law College saying that he had not completed his schooling and education in the right order. Though his counsels said that the educational criteria for joining the law degree course was met, the judge rejected the argument, said the report. However, Justice Ramasubramanian explained that that the degree would not go as waste. He said that though he would not get a chance to be enrolled as an advocate, he could be privately employed.
