When Deputy Speaker Pollachi V Jayaraman indicated at AIADMK’s Srirangam win, J Anbazhagan of the DMK also said that he must speak about the outcome of by polls since 2006, reported PTI. However, this was opposed by the treasury benches. Then, however, when Jayaraman referred to Anbazhagan as a 'komali' or a 'clown', it prompted angry DMK MLASs to their feet, calling for the word to be expunged.The call was denied when the Speaker P Dhanapal referred to an earlier incident when a DMK member Duraimurgan had used the same word, said the report.However, DMK MLAs said that while Jayaraman had called a member a clown, Duraimurugan had not called anyone directly a clown, reported The Hindu. When DMK members approached the Speaker’s chair and demanded for its removal, he ordered their eviction. Previously, the DMK members had staged a walkout when the Speaker had denied MK Stalin the chance to discuses issues that he wanted to bring up.
