Weather forecast for the week: Heavy rains in TN and Puducherry, here are the full details

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has released its weather bulletin forecasting heavy rains for the coming days.

Here are the forecasts with full details for the rest of the week.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING:

DAY 1 (01st December): Scattered heavy to isolated very heavy rain would occur over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Isolated extremely heavy rain would occur over Tiruvallur, Chennai, Kanchipuram districts of Tamil Nadu and Nellore and Chittoor districts of Andhra Pradesh. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain would occur over South coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated heavy rain may occur over Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Rayalaseema. 

DAY 2 (02nd December): Scattered heavy to isolated very heavy rain would occur over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain would occur over South coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated heavy rain may occur over Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Rayalaseema.

DAY 3 (03rd December): Isolated heavy to very heavy rain would occur over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Isolated heavy rain may occur over Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

DAY 4 (04th December): Isolated heavy to very heavy rain would occur over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Isolated heavy rain may occur over Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

DAY 5 (05th December): Isolated heavy rain may occur over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

FORECAST FOR CHENNAI CITY AND NEIGHBOURHOOD:

FOR NEXT 24 HOURS:  The sky condition would be generally cloudy. Few spells of rain or thundershowers would occur in some areas, very heavy at times. Surface wind would be strong and gusty at times. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 28 and 23 deg Celsius respectively.
