A 25-year-old student in Coimbatore is suddenly in the news.

He is a postgraduate student of Tamil Literature but that is not why he is in the spotlight.

Being a postgraduate student, he runs an auto rickshaw, offering free rides to pregnant women and schoolchildren.

And the reason he is driving an auto is because he wants to fund his ambition of completing the M.Phil programme.

Hailing from a poor background, he completed his graduation and post graduation in Tamil literature with the help of a government scholarship.

Aiming to become a scholar of the Tamil language, he purchased a second hand auto with the help of his friends and learnt to drive.
