Video: Vaiko and the art of walking out of an interview

Written by : TNM Staff

MDMK leader Vaiko has done it again. The leader known for his short temper walked out of an interview by Tamil TV channel Polimer TV.

In an interview with the Polimer TV, the interviewer asked, “I’m asking you this question because of social media rumours that Vijayakanth was offered Rs 1000 crore and 59 seats and Vaiko who has been acting as AIADMK B was offered Rs 1500 crore...” But before the interviewer could complete his question, Vaiko said, “Cancelling the interview” and walked out of the room.

The interviewer had also asked in the beginning, “On what basis are you making allegations against DMK that they offered Rs. 500 crore and 80 seats to Vijayakanth?” Vaiko replied, “I know this through trustworthy sources.”

This is however not the first time Vaiko is walking out of an interview. In a NewsHour Debate on TimesNow in 2012, Vaiko became angry at Arnab Goswami. The leader got agitated as Goswami talked about Vaiko going to prison for more than a year and being pro Sri-lankan Tamils, he walked out of the interview saying that Arnab Goswami has "prejudiced and biased views."

He also threw the earpiece away.

Temper tantrums. Vaiko style.
