Tamil Nadu burst into political turmoil on February 7, two months after the death of late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Two dramatic events were at the heart of it all – AIADMK founder-member PH Pandian’s allegation that Jayalalithaa had been poisoned, and former CM O Panneerselvam’s announcement that he was forced to resign from his post.
