The Young Indians chapter of the CII in Tamil Nadu has kicked off a unique campaign to get more under 25 voters to exercise their franchise. 

'Show the ink, see the prices sink' is an initiative by the Trichy, Salem and Chennai chapters to offer discounts on various products for those who can furnish their voter id and are under 25 years of age.

The discounts will apply between May 16 and 22. "We've covered over 100 food outlets in Trichy, including a KFC and Dominoes. Discounts can be availed between 10-25%, and we're planning to rope in 100 more" Trichy Chapter member Joshua said. 

The Salem chapter plans on offering 10% discounts and Rs.500 off on electronics, textiles, jewellery and 35 other brands it has tied up with.
