Written by : TNM Staff

Two inebriated passengers on an Air India flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tiruchy were fined Rs. 30000 each for creating ruckus on the flight.

According to media reports, when the air hostess asked the two passengers to be seated, they started shouting at her and other people around. They also damaged seat belts and broke seat handles.

The passengers, Abdul Wakab (27) and Sheikh Abdullah (25) from Sivaganga district claimed that the handles were already broken when the air hostesses repeatedly asked them questions about the damage, according to TNIE.

The air hostesses informed one of the pilot Akshay Pathak about the chaos in the flight and he immediately informed the Tiruchy airport. When the flight landed in Tiruchy, the two passengers were taken into airport police custody and fined Rs. 60,000 for all the damage caused in the flight.
