Top intel cop close to CM Jayalalithaa moved out as court verdict date nears

But not anymore.Amaresh Pujari has been moved to a comparitively lesser important post of inspector-general of police, Tamil Nadu Police Academy around the same time that a verdict is to be reached in the disproportionate asset case relating to TN CM J Jayalalithaa, said The Times of India. Pujari was seen as someone close to her having direct access to the CM despite needing to report to the director-general of police(law and order). Recently he had a falling out with the CM which has led to the sequence of events causing his transfer. According to police, Pujari has also been mentioned in the Mukul MudgalCommittee report relating to the IPL betting scam.
