TN polls: Woman lights camphor, prays before EVM

An elderly woman on Monday lighted a camphor in front of an EVM machine in a polling booth in Tiruvannamalai district before casting her vote.

The woman, offered prayers after lighting the camphor and voted in Cheyyaru Assembly constituency.

Polling officials and agents of the political parties were surprised by her conduct.

Even before anyone could react, she completed her prayers, voted and moved out of the polling station.
