TNCC president E V K S Elangovan on Saturday ruled out the possibility of Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) joining the DMK-Congress alliance for the May 16 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.

Asked if the TMC, led by former Union Minister G K Vasan, will join the alliance, Elangovan told reporters that there was no possibility of that party allying with DMK-Congress.

On the delay in deciding the number of seats Congress was contesting, he said it will be announced in a couple of days.

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad would have another round of talks with DMK chief Karunanidhi and announcement made within two or three days, Elanvgovan said.
