The News Minute | December 17, 2014 | 08:40 am ISTIn a peculiar case in Tamil Nadu, a teen was arrested for making a hoax bomb threat in order to shut down a school in his neighbourhood to meet a special someone. The teenager, Clarence, was arrested on Wednesday after he made a fake bomb threat in order to shut down a school in Thalamuthunagar near Thoothukudi to meet his 10th standard girlfriend. The 19 year-old was traced from CCTV footage, and had revealed to the police that he had wanted to meet his girlfriend who was giving an exam at the school, reported The New Indian Express. He claimed that he called up the Police Control Room and issued the bomb threat to all schools in the area so that he would not be suspected, said the report. Since the teen's father had died a month back, he had been too busy with work to meet her, said the police. Police have booked him under Section 66A of the IT Act. However, the police have not looked in further details about the girl, said the report. Tweet
