The News Minute| January 2, 2015| 08.30 am ISTSunny Leone may have topped Google trends in 2014 as the most searched person of the year, however, for Tamil Nadu she lacks a little when compared to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Even though Modi came second overall in the most popular person on the internet after Leone, for Tamilans the same funda did not apply, reported The New Indian Express. While the rest of India differed, Tamil Nadu statistics showed that people were more interested in Modi than her in terms of searches, said the report. While the Search Volume Index (SVI) which compares the number of searches for one item with all other items on a scale from 0-100 found that SVI for Leone in Tamil Nadu was 30, for Modi it was a little higher at 32.However, the analysis also showed across the state from Chennai to Vellore, Coimbatore, Thanjavur and Tirunelveli, said the report. The state also showed aspirations for tech-savvy purchases as 'Flipkart' and 'MotoG’ also were among the searched items on the internet. TweetFollow @thenewsminute
