Tamil TV actor Sabarna found dead in Chennai, industry in shock

In yet another shocking death in the Tamil TV industry, show host and TV serial actor Sabarna was found dead in her house at Maduravoyal in Chennai on Friday.

The police are investigating her death.

According to reports, she had not been seen for several days.

She was acting in TV serials like “Pasamalar” on Sun TV and had done several shows for Star Vijay, including “Pudhu Kavidhai” and a cooking show.

A member of the TV industry who has worked closely with Sabarna said that the news has come as a complete shock to the industry. She had not been very happy in the past few days, according to the Sabarna's friends. However, the exact reason for her death is not known.

"She was a very bold person, but she had a lot of personal issues. She used to take relationships and friendships very seriously, but she used to brave her way out of issues. She used to get tensed, but this is unexpected," says another actor who has worked with Sabarna.

The police are investigating the matter further. 

In March 2016, Tamil television artiste and film actor S Sai Prashanth was found dead at his residence in Valasarawakkam in Chennai. He was said to be depressed about his personal and professional life, and his death has shocked the industry.
